Engine Repair in Cincinnati, OH
From a timing belt that’s due to a full engine swap, done in our own bay.
The heavy work, done here.
Engine work is the heart of what we do. Look through the photos on this site and you’ll see it: blocks on stands, heads off, timing sets laid bare, engines lowered out on the hoist and replacements going back in. One customer’s Google review says it simply: “Did a engine replacement on my 2013 dodge honest and fast.”
Whether it’s a timing belt that’s due, an oil leak that keeps getting worse, overheating, a misfire or a knock that means the engine is finished, we find the cause first. Then we lay out the options so you can decide what makes sense for the car and the miles you want out of it.

Is it worth fixing my engine, or should I replace the car?
It depends on the rest of the car. We’ll tell you what the engine needs and what the repair involves, so you can weigh it against what the car is worth to you.
When does a timing belt need to be replaced?
Most engines with a belt call for a new one at a set mileage or age, listed in the owner’s manual. On many engines a belt that snaps bends valves, so if you don’t know when yours was last done, ask us.
Do you rebuild engines or just replace them?
Both. The engine-stand photos on this site (painted blocks, fresh valve springs, crankshafts on the bench) are rebuilds in progress in our shop.
My check-engine light is flashing. Can I keep driving?
Keep it short and gentle. A flashing light usually means an active misfire, which can overheat the catalytic converter. Call (513) 760-4822 and get it in.
