Car A/C Repair in Cincinnati, OH
Blowing warm, blowing weak, or making noise when it kicks on. We find out why before anything gets recharged.
Low means it leaked.
Car air conditioning is a sealed system. If it’s low on refrigerant, it leaked. Topping it off without finding the leak usually buys a few weeks of cold air, and then you’re back where you started.
We check how the system is performing, look for the leak, and test the parts that make the cold: the compressor and its clutch, the condenser and cooling fans, and the controls that send the air where you want it. Then it gets fixed and charged properly.

Can’t I just recharge it?
You can, but if it was low, it leaked, and it will leak again. Finding and fixing the leak is what keeps it cold.
Why does my A/C blow cold some days and warm on others?
Common causes are a low charge, a compressor clutch that cuts out, a cooling fan that isn’t running, or a blend door problem. Testing tells which.
When should I get the A/C checked?
Before the first hot week of summer is ideal, but any time it stops blowing cold is the right time.
Is a musty smell from the vents an A/C problem?
Usually it’s moisture and growth on the evaporator, sometimes made worse by a clogged drain. It’s fixable.
